We are looking for a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the Identity & Access Management Platform team. The IAM Platform is the foundational layer that decides who can see and do what across all of ClickUp. This team owns the authorization engine, the permission and role model, authentication technologies such as SSO, MFA, SCIM, and OIDC, sharing primitives, audit logs, and the core data model, and ensures security and compliance throughout the product.
In this role you will set the technical vision for identity and access management, mentor and grow a high‑performing engineering team, collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure partners, and drive the roadmap for new features and scalability improvements. You will be responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and performant IAM services that support ClickUp’s global user base.
The ideal candidate has deep experience designing and operating large‑scale authentication and authorization systems, a strong track record of leading engineering teams, and a passion for building secure, user‑centric platforms. Experience with modern cloud environments, API‑first design, and compliance standards such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is highly valued.
