◍Global Job Grid

Cookie Policy

Global Job Grid is engineered to run without tracking. Last updated: 2026.

1. Cookies actually set

Two first-party cookies are strictly necessary, Secure + HttpOnly + SameSite=Strict, and only when you sign in: __Host-sess (staff control-panel session, max 8 hours) and __Host-gjgt (community account session, max 30 days, cleared on sign-out). Both hold opaque tokens that page scripts cannot read; no consent is required for strictly necessary cookies. Additionally, only with your analytics consent, Google Analytics sets its measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*, up to 24 months) — analytics storage is denied until you accept, and a decline never sets them.

2. Local storage

Your view preferences, filters, saved searches, tracker board, folders, notes and reminders live in your browser’s localStorage. They never leave your device and you can clear them any time via your browser settings or “Sign out”. Your sign-in session is an HttpOnly cookie (unreadable to page scripts) issued by the server and revoked on sign-out.

3. Tracking & consent

No advertising, fingerprinting or cross-site cookies are ever set. Analytics uses a basic-consent gate: the Google tag is not loaded at all until your Accept (or, outside opt-in jurisdictions, until you Decline the notice) — no request, cookieless or otherwise, reaches Google before your choice. With consent granted, anonymous measurement cookies are set, with IP anonymization; advertising consent is never granted — this site runs no ads, and withdrawal (Decline) resets every category and deletes any already-set Google cookies. Cloudflare Pages Web Analytics also runs for all visits: it is cookieless, collects aggregate page metrics only, sets no cookies and does not track people across sites. Video interviews are no exception: a call is a direct browser-to-browser WebRTC session — it sets no cookies, fires no analytics event, and nothing about the conversation is recorded, tracked or registered by this website. Your choice is stored on your device and can be changed any time via the in-app Cookie policy dialog (footer → Cookies).

4. Third parties

Apply links and share buttons open external services (employers, X, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram, Reddit). Those parties may set their own cookies once you leave this site — see their policies. Job-card flag images load from flagcdn.com (image-only, no cookies).

5. Manage your analytics choice

Accept or decline anonymous analytics at any time on the board — footer → Cookies → “Manage analytics choice”. The choice is stored on this device and applies to your visits.
