Discord's Talent team is seeking a strategic Technical Sourcer to support our most complex engineering roles by activating passive candidates. In this role, you'll partner directly with engineering leadership to conduct market intelligence, size talent pools, and execute sophisticated sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles.
You'll be responsible for translating technical requirements into targeted sourcing approaches, building robust candidate pipelines through deep market analysis and personalized outreach, and serving as a trusted advisor on talent availability and competitive dynamics. Success in this role requires a consultative mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and proven expertise in activating passive talent in highly constrained technical markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner strategically with hiring managers and technical leaders to deeply understand role requirements, technical stack nuances, team dynamics, and ideal candidate profiles, translating technical requirements into effective sourcing criteria.
